Intense, ripe gooseberry aromas and subtle hints of spice are followed on the palate by mouth-watering citrus concentration and elegant balance. Specially selected parcels of grapes for this premium quality Sauvignon Blanc were grown along the Rapaura Road in the heart of Marlborough. Fruit harvested in the cool of the night produced exceptional quality juice from lightly pressed fruit, which was then allowed to settle prior to racking and fermentation. After 3 months of lees contact the wine was carefully blended, lightly fined, and filtered before bottling.
